Men's Ministry
We believe that iron sharpens iron and that we are called to develop Christ-like character within men that contribute to the building of the kingdom of God. Our mission is to train and empower men to live out their faith, build up their homes, and make an impact in their community through discipleship, evangelism, familial involvement, and community service.
Daughters of Deborah
Women's Ministry
Our mission is to promote spiritual growth for the women of our church and community, through prayerfully planned activities, events, as well through the studying of God’s word. We seek to serve women both locally and internationally in an effort to lead them to a relationship with Christ. We desire to help women connect the Gospel to their lives, allowing Christ to become central to who they are and all they will do. Finally, we vow to pray for, encourage, and uplift our sisters while standing in the gap for them whenever needed.
Media
To partner with the global church in fulfilling the Great Commission through the use of traditional and mainstream media as vehicles to carry the Gospel on various platforms of technology. We aim to collaborate with and support other ministries which require the use of sound and/or video equipment.
Youth
We are dedicated to serving your family by offering our best for your children. We strive to provide meaningful activities and events that is tailored for youth between the ages 4-12 that will help develop and grow them in Christ.
Young Adults
At SJCC we are committed to encouraging and equipping young adults to follow Jesus and make a meaningful impact in the world. Our young adult community (ages 18-35) provides a place for the young adults in our church to grow alongside other believers and live out their faith with no limits. It’s a safe place for everyone to believe, become, and belong.
Diaconate
The purpose of the Diaconate Ministry is to serve Jesus Christ with passion and integrity. We support and assist the Senior Pastor in fulfilling the vision and mission of the church body and community. We serve as an extended arm and representative of the Pastor in making sure congregational care is carried out to the fullest.
Discipleship
Ministry

The mission of the St. John’s Intergenerational Discipleship Ministry is to develop and train disciples of Jesus Christ by Ephesians 4:11-16. We seek to perform five (5) principles:

Equip disciples spiritually for service in ministry through the congregation and in the community.

Edify disciples through biblical instruction in morality and in the knowledge of God that they might grow spiritually mature.

Encouraging unity of faith through aligned teaching and preaching.

Empowering disciples with a biblical worldview and kingdom mindset to defend their faith against false teachings and live a Christ-centered life.

Establishing a healthy community of disciples in which authentic relationships are nurtured within the church and strong Christian families are established.
Music & Worship Arts
Ministry
This ministry serves the church and the larger community outside these walls as God continues to use many committed and dedicated singers, dancers, and instrumentalists to lead the congregation in praise and worship, and serve the church whenever needed. We seek to discern the flow of the Holy Spirit in each worship service and try to follow the Spirit’s lead both musically and spiritually in unity and cooperation with our pastor and other worship leaders. Our utmost motivation and desire is to see the congregation enter into God’s presence.

Karah (Dance Ministry)
Trustee Ministry
The Board of Trustee assist the Senior Pastor in making sure the care of the physical church property is maintained and looked after. We hold in trust all deeds to the church property, oversee the use of all church property, attend to all legal matters of the church, and administrate all financial responsibilities of the church on behalf of the ministry of Elders.
Philip
Ministry
Our purpose is to welcome and lead those accepting the invitation to join our fellowship into a redemptive relationship with Jesus Christ. We strive to engage in meaningful conversation that will help bring awareness to one’s need for salvation and connection with a church family.
Marriage Ministry
The Marriage Ministry will create and restore healthy marriages centered on Christ and based upon the biblical guidelines for marriage. When marriages are healthy, families are healthy, and when families are healthy, the church and the community are healthy. The marriage ministry is open to all married couples, SJCC members and nonmembers.
Seasoned Saints Ministry
The purpose of the seasoned saints ministry is to identify and address the spiritual, educational, personal, and health needs of our senior members and to reach out to seniors in the community and invite them to experience Christian fellowship at the SJCC.
